1. Scope of the service
Terrace provides software for supporters to choose clubs, mark attendance, discover or create meetups, coordinate with squads, participate in chat, post match memories, and manage a subscription layer called Terrace Plus.
Terrace does not sell tickets, arrange transport, provide venue security, guarantee entry to a stadium or meetup, or verify every user statement made on the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- Users must comply with local law and App Store rules when using Terrace.
- Users are responsible for keeping their Sign in with Apple credentials and device access secure.
- Users must provide accurate profile and meetup information and may not impersonate another person, club, organization, or venue.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not post illegal, abusive, discriminatory, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content.
- Do not use Terrace to harass supporters, stalk attendees, threaten people, or organize violence or property damage.
- Do not use Terrace to scrape data, reverse engineer the service, automate abusive behavior, or interfere with the app or infrastructure.
- Do not use match chat, meetup chat, or invites to move people off-platform for unsafe contact, spam, or scams.
- Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to share.
4. Meetups and real-world safety
- Users are solely responsible for decisions to attend matches, meetups, and in-person gatherings arranged through Terrace.
- Users must follow venue rules, club rules, local law, and public-safety instructions.
- Terrace may display meetup details and attendance counts, but users remain responsible for their own transport, ticketing, personal safety, and conduct.
- If a situation feels unsafe, users should leave, contact local emergency services, and report the issue to Terrace.
5. User-generated content and licenses
Users keep ownership of the content they submit, but grant Terrace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to run, secure, and improve the service.
This license ends within a commercially reasonable period after deletion, except where limited retention is required for backups, investigations, legal holds, or compliance records.
6. Moderation and enforcement
- Terrace may filter content before posting, remove content, limit reach, freeze chats, block accounts, cancel meetups, or terminate access when needed for safety, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
- Reports may lead to temporary or permanent restrictions even while a review is pending.
- Repeated attempts to bypass moderation, share personal contact details against policy, or harass others may result in account removal.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- Terrace Plus subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase and are governed by Apple billing terms in addition to these Terms.
- Renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing management are handled through the user's Apple account unless mandatory local law states otherwise.
- Terrace may change subscription features or pricing prospectively. Existing subscribers keep rights required by Apple and applicable law.
8. Availability and changes
Terrace may change, suspend, or discontinue features, countries, clubs, leagues, chats, widgets, or meetup tools at any time. The service may also be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or third-party interruptions.
9. Disclaimers
Subject to mandatory consumer, product-liability, and data-protection law, Terrace is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Terrace does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, successful meetup turnout, or user behavior consistent with community expectations.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law. This includes, where applicable, liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and mandatory rights available under consumer or data-protection law.
Subject to that rule, Terrace and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from user conduct, third-party actions, event cancellations, venue decisions, ticket issues, transport failures, or off-platform interactions.
11. Termination and deletion
- Users may stop using Terrace at any time and may initiate in-app account deletion.
- Terrace may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
- Provisions that reasonably should survive termination, including safety, payment, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions, will survive.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms should be finalized with jurisdiction-specific governing law, venue, legal-entity information, and mandatory consumer notices before public launch.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that users may have under mandatory consumer protection, unfair contract terms, product-liability, or data-protection law in the country where they habitually live.
Legal notices and support requests should be routed to hello@getterrace.app.
